Kodaikannal is one of best tourism spot in tamilnadu. Most of the foreigners also like to visit this place especially for its climate. Kodaikanal is referred to as the "Princess of Hill stations" and has a long history as a retreat and popular tourist destination.

Palani
Palani is the leading religious place in Tamilnadu. Arulmigu Thandayudhapani Temple is one of the arupadaivedu of lord Muruga. The town derives its name from the compounding of two Tamil words pazham, meaning fruit, and nee, you, hearking back to the legend of the chief temple.
Not only the hindus and people from tamilnadu liles to visit palani. All the region and religious people likes to visit this place. The rope car and winch will makes our trip so easier and memorable. Both bus and train transport are available frequently from dindigul city. Just 57 Kms far from dindigul bus stand.
Sirumalai
Sirumalai is a region of 60,000 acres situated 25 km from Dindigul, India. There are many high hills in the area. Sirumalai is a dense forest region with a moderate climate throughout the year. The altitude of the hill is 1600 meters above sea level, and it contains diversified flora and fauna and a variety of animals.
The Hill has totally 18 hair-pin bends and on the 18th bend you can able to find a church and a view point from where you can watch the beauty of Dindigul city and also the "Dindigul Rock Fort". The hill contains a small waterfall as well.
Dindigul Fort
The Dindigul Fort or Dindigul Malai Kottai is a 17th-century hill fort, built by Madurai Nayakar situated in the town of Dindigul in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The fort was built by the Madurai Nayakar king Muthu Krishnappa Nayakar in 1605. In 18th century the fort passed on to Kingdom of Mysore.
During the reign of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan the fort was of strategic importance. In 1799 it went to the control of the British East India Company during the Polygar Wars. There is an abandoned temple on its peak apart from few cannons. In modern times, the fort is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and is open to tourists.
Attur Dam
Attur Kamarajar Sagar Dam is the water base for Dindigul district. Water distribution and fishing are the primary focus in Atturdam. Attur dam is located in between in Dindigul to Bathalagundu.

Attur is a beautiful village, Kodaganar river runs through the river. This river is the base for the agriculture in dindigul district. The Dam is 25 Kms far from Dindigul City and one of the must visitable places in dindigul district.
Sri Kottai Mariamman Temple
Dindigul Sir Kottai Mariamman temple is an icon for dindigul. The temple was built in 18th century by an army man of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan. There are three special entrances to the temple. The processions are arranged through the front entrance. Other entrances are close to the Fort.
The temple celebrates a 20 day festival each year in the month of masi according to tamil calender. The very special flower festival makes more colorful and give joy to devotees.
Nanmai Tharum 108 Vinayagar Temple
Nanmai Tharum 108 Vinayagar temple is located in heart of the dindigul city. In this temple you can see the 108 different poses of Vinayagar statues.

Now the milestone of the temple is, 32 feet height Vinayagar Statue is sculpt by a single stone and sitting pride opposite to Gopala Samuthiram pond in dindigul city. This temple is walkable distance from our lodge.
Abiramiamman Temple
Arulmigu Abirami Amman Temple, situated in dindigul city is one of the most important “Sivasthalams”. The unique feature of the temple is that it houses in the same premises one sanctum sanctorum for Lord Padmagiriswarar with Abirami Amman and another for Lord Kalahastheeswarar and Gnanambigai.
One of the ancient temple in tamilnadu, 1500 plus year history for this temple. The temple was listed in Devaram and Thirupugal. Actually the temple was located in dindigul fort earlier. Later the temple was relocated to heart the dindigul city. It’s very close to our lodge.
